Reflecting on Change Movements of the Past

The articles posted on this page are all devoted to the history of the Churches of Christ here in America. The biographical sketches are of men, who for good or bad, played a major role in the history of our brotherhood.

The careful reader and observer will note that the problems that plagued the Restoration Movement a century ago have come back to haunt us. Santayana well observed that he that does not learn the lessons of history is doomed to repeat the mistakes of history. 
This truism is being played out in our midst as the promoters of change  pursue the same goals that their erring fathers did at the end of the 19th century.
